Meet Your new District 3 Director!
Greg has been a member of CLP for over 16 years. He was born and raised on a dairy farm in west-central Minnesota. His parents where members of a cooperative creamery and their electric power was from a cooperative. Since childhood he has come to appreciate the value of doing business the cooperative way.
Greg was active in 4-H and FFA during middle and high school, and obtained a Bachelor degree in Biology from University of Minnesota-Duluth. He was also active in a service fraternity during college.
Greg enjoyed a 30-year career in federal service doing environmental research. Teamwork (both as a team leader and as a team member) was an essential part of his entire careers work.
After retirement from federal service, Greg founded an S-Corporation. With this business he became familiar with statutory requirements for a shareholder owned small business, writing by-laws, doing balance sheets, and tax reporting requirements.
Welcome, Greg. We look forward to serving with you.
