Beaver Bay Community Center
The Beaver Bay Community Center is a $800,000 project
in Beaver Bay, Minnesota. The community center houses
government offices, a community area and private business
offices in Beaver Bay.
Through a joint effort between CLP and the Rural Economic
Development Loan & Grant Program, we were able to
secure a $400,000, 0% interest loan for the Community
Center. Without this aid, the Community Center would
never have been a reality. The funding assisted in the
development of the center; more importantly, it was
an anchor to secure the additional funds needed to complete
the project.
Currently, 1/3 of the commercial/retail space is rented.
Tenants include the City Clerks Office, the Maintenance
Supervisor, The City Council Meeting Chambers, The Township
Board and the Lemon Wolf Cafe featuring home cooking!
