Hospital/Medical Center

A medical center is the hub of any community. When the residents of Two Harbors were surveyed about their health care there was a common theme. They wanted personal service, a skilled staff and quality care close to home. CLP is proud to help make this a reality.

Through a joint effort between CLP and the Rural Economic Development Loan & Grant Program, we were able to secure a $400,000, 0% interest loan for both the new clinic (The Community Health Center) and an expansion on the Lakeview Memorial Hospital. With this aid, CLP supported the Medical Services in Lake County. The money not only helped the hospital and clinic, but assisted the Ambulance service as well. More importantly, this funding was the anchor to secure the additional funds needed to complete the project.

First Plan is building a new clinic in Two Harbors (The Community Health Center). The total project is a $3.2 million investment in our community.

The expansion of the hospital is a $6 million investment in our community. It is important that these investments are made, so the residents of Lake County can have quality health care in their own town.
